HARMONY 2

A cluster of blood coloured yarn wrapped pieces, knotted together in an expression of tension and suffering. These graduate out in colour suggesting change and are then surrounded by a protective cocoon of looping ivory wrapped pieces spilling out and becoming buds of hope.

This piece was designed and made for St.Marys Church in Purley-on-Thames, Berkshire and was on display along with Harmony 1 in Nov/Dec 2017 coinciding with Remembrance Day as a memorial to all who suffered.

mixed yarns, wire, fabric strips, pva
