HARMONY 1

Yarn wrapped lengths are topped with blood coloured knots as a symbol of pain and suffering. They are bound together in bundles expressing unity, gradually transforming into ivory and emerging into pure bright drips of hope.

This piece was designed and made for St.Marys Church in Purley-on-Thames, Berkshire and was on display along with Harmony 2 in Nov/Dec 2017 coinciding with Remembrance Day as a memorial to all who suffered.
